Job Description

  • JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
    • Job Summary:
      • To perform CT and radiographic studies and oversee the department in a professional, supervisory manner throughout the evening shift; thus serving as the resource for all patient and staff issues.
    • Education:
      • Position requires high school diploma or equivalent with successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Commission on Education in Radiologic Technology
    • Registration/Certification/Licensure:
      • Maryland licensure, required.
      • ARRT certification in Radiograpy and CT, required.
    • Experience:
      • Previous CT and radiography experience required. Must demonstrate the knowledge of the normal operation of all Radiographic/CT equipment and possess the ability to troubleshoot and make the appropriate service calls when necessary.
    • Other Requirements:
      • Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
      • Effectively communicates with all patient populations and staff by implementing organization-wide communication techniques as a daily practice.
      • Effectively advocates for quality patient safety and satisfaction as a daily practice.
