Job Description
Our Chaplains provide support and compassionate care to patients, families, caregivers, visitors, and staff. Our Spiritual Care Department supports a spectrum of diverse spiritual needs in our community and serve all faith traditions, as well as people with no faith tradition. We are here for all people.
Chaplain duties include:

Listen and offer spiritual, emotional support, prayer

Support to patient & families in times of crisis, grief, and trauma.

Education/support with advance care directives and assist in executing documents.

Patient & Family support during end-of-life decisions

Assisting and/or contacting local clergy to help with sacraments or religious rituals
Requirements to be a contract Chaplain one of the following:
-
Currently enrolled in an accredited seminary
-
Counseling degree or background
-
CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) at least one unit
