Line Prep/Cook at CHERS Restaurant Group – Collierville, Tennessee

KEY DUTIES/SKILLS

1. Setting Up Stations:

• Assisting with stocking and arranging kitchen stations.
• Ensuring all necessary supplies are available.

2. Food Preparation:

• Cleaning and cutting ingredients.
• Cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks.
• Following recipes and menu items created by the Head Chef.

3. Plating and Presentation:

• Plating prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance.
• Collaborating with servers to fulfill orders promptly and accurately.
• Hygiene and Cleanliness:
• Washing and cleaning kitchen areas and utensils.
• Properly storing equipment at the end of shifts.
• Ensuring kitchen operation procedures meet food safety standards.

4. Quality Control:

• Ensuring food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and timely.
• Complying with nutrition, sanitation regulations, and safety standards.

5. Professionalism:

• Maintaining a positive and respectful approach with coworkers and customers.
