Job Summary:

The CNA - Student is under the direct supervision of the RN/LPN Instructor who is delegated assignments by the RN/LPN to achieve quality patient care. He/she will learn the implementation phase of the nursing process and is organizationally accountable to the Nurse Manager. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide technical care appropriate to the age of the patients served; also demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to collect data and relays appropriate data to nurse and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures.

Diploma/GED required. Must complete the class in order to take the CNA test.
