Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a motivated and dependable individual who is eager to contribute to a busy kitchen environment by assisting with dishwashing and food preparation tasks. Key Responsibilities:

- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met

- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients

- Support the kitchen team in maintaining a clean and organized workspace

- Follow safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe working environment

- Help with basic cooking tasks as directed by the chef or kitchen supervisor

- Restock supplies and ensure all necessary items are available for food preparation and service

- Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

- Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus but not required

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions

- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

- Previous experience as a dishwasher preferred but not required
