Fire Alarm Sales Representative- Orlando / Tampa Area in Clearwater, Florida at Mann Wireless

Mann Fire & Security is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Sales Representative to help grow our business across Central Florida.

We're looking for someone who knows the fire alarm industry, has established relationships with general contractors, electrical contractors, property managers, and building owners, and can bring in new projects.

In 2024, Mann Wireless launched Mann Fire & Security, a strategic expansion focused on becoming a premier provider of fire alarm systems and services. This new venture leverages Mann Wireless’ industry leadership, technical expertise, and strong client relationships to serve critical sectors such as healthcare, education, local government, multi-family housing, and high-rise buildings.

• Develop new customer relationships and generate sales opportunities.
• Pursue new construction projects and major fire alarm upgrades.
• Work with our estimating team to prepare competitive proposals.
• Follow up on submitted proposals and help turn bids into awarded projects.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers and identify future opportunities.
• Track sales activity and project opportunities.
• Stay current with industry trends, code changes, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to contractors, owners, and decision-makers.
• Manage and report on sales pipeline, activities, and forecasts in CRM.

Other Essential Functions:

• Maintain any certifications or licenses required for the role.
• Exhibit professionalism, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and client-specific appearance or safety requirements.

Requirements

• Must be located in the Central Florida area. Orlando-Tampa area is ideal
• Minimum 5 years of fire alarm sales experience.
• Strong relationships with general contractors, electrical contractors, and building owners.
• Experience selling new construction fire alarm systems, system upgrades, and replacements.
• Ability to find new opportunities, follow up on bids, and close projects.
• Understanding of fire alarm systems, construction drawings, and the bidding process.
• Self-motivated and comfortable developing new business.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
