Position Overview:
GPT Renewables is currently hiring experienced Commercial/Industrial Electricians to support a large-scale data center construction project in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

We are seeking electricians with a minimum of 4 years of commercial or industrial electrical construction experience, with 5 or more years strongly preferred. Candidates should have hands-on experience installing electrical systems in commercial or industrial environments.

Project Details:

• Location: Rock Hill, South Carolina
• Openings: 25 Electricians
• Project Type: Data Center Construction
• Duration: Approximately 6 Months
• Schedule: Approximately 58 Hours per Week
• Pay Rate: $36.00 per Hour
• Per Diem: $120.00 per Full Day Worked

Job Responsibilities:

• Pull and install electrical wiring.
• Install and route MC (metal-clad) cable.
• Install lighting fixtures and associated electrical components.
• Perform electrical wall trim-out, including receptacles and switches.
• Bend and install 3/4-inch and 1-inch electrical conduit.
• Install and hang electrical panels.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and installation instructions.
• Follow electrical safety standards and project installation requirements.
• Work efficiently with electrical crews to meet construction schedules.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Strong hands-on electrical installation skills.
• Experience bending conduit, installing electrical devices, and pulling wire.
• Ability to complete basic electrical installations independently.
• Previous data center experience is a plus but not required.
• Must successfully complete both a written and hands-on electrical assessment before mobilization.

Pre-Mobilization Testing Requirements:

All candidates must successfully complete an offsite written and hands-on electrical assessment near the project location before receiving approval to mobilize.
