Job Summary
- Provides direct and indirect care in Birth Center area under the supervision of an RN. Communicates to RN and/or physician changes in patient clinical conditions; including vital signs, results of diagnostic studies, progress with therapy and symptomatology. Maintains regulatory body requirements, policies and procedures and participates in performance improvement activities. Is able to perform general LPN duties in other areas with adequate supervision.
Regulatory Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Current State Nursing Licensure in the state of Ohio.
- Current BCLS certification.
Language Skills
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
