JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing coverage for all positions in the department. Responsible for Radiology preadmission functions and associated tasks, which include scheduling, obtaining orders, verification of precertification/preauthorization and other tasks as needed.

Education/Regulatory Requirements:

High School Diploma / GED.

Previous related experience preferred.

Skills:

Moderate to advanced computer and data entry skills.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications.

Basic knowledge of medical terminology.

Strong written and verbal skills.
