To ensure fairness and transparency, the starting base salary range for this role for candidates in the U.S. are listed below, varying based on location experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, this role will also be offered equity and subsidized benefits (details available upon request).


About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Accounting Senior Manager to join our team and play an integral part in managing our day-to-day accounting activities and building our long-term accounting and finance framework. This role will work cross-functionally with multiple departments of the organization, including Sales, Product, and HR.


Responsibilities:

  • Own day-to-day accounting operations, including AR/AP, while building long-term, scalable processes.

  • Conduct regular audits of billing procedures to identify and rectify discrepancies.

  • Conduct monthly close reconciliations and prepare analytical financial reports (e.g., Flux Analysis) to provide insights to management for decision-making.

  • Implement and maintain billing systems, financial controls, and processes to ensure both accuracy and compliance, while maximizing efficiency.

  • Review and approve expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.

  • Maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions and supporting documentation.

  • Help strategize and create the Company’s revenue policy under ASC 606.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards including ASC 480, ASC 842, and ASC 718.

  • Liaise with external auditors and assist with annual audits.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial transparency and accuracy across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification

  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience in accounting required

  • Big 4 Accounting background & experience in a high-growth startup (3+ years) highly preferred.

  • Proven track record of successfully implementing controls & systems.

  • Experience scaling and improving Finance & Accounting processes.

  • Strong technical background (SaaS preferred), with a good understanding of ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 718.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on ethical conduct and integrity.


The pay range for this role is:
120,000 - 150,000 USD per year(Remote - United States)
