About This Position

Job Summary:

The IT Operations Specialist will provide essential support across various IT functions, assisting with tasks that ensure the smooth operation of our systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee all technical aspects of our eCommerce platform.

· Assist with cloud scaling and security initiatives, contributing to ongoing improvements to the hosting environment.

· Develop and test disaster recovery procedures, coordinating testing with vendors and partners, and documenting processes for Business Continuity Planning.

· Help ensure HIPAA compliance and best practices for data protection.

· Develop, implement, and refine IT processes to improve operational efficiency.

· Lead IT infrastructure projects for TelyRx pharmacy locations.

· Assist with initial account creation, application access, and equipment issuance for staff onboarding and offboarding.

· Support other departments by integrating and managing various third-party tools and technologies.

· Manage and administer user devices and accounts within the Microsoft 365 environment.

· Manage and maintain the deployment of software updates and patches to macOS and Windows endpoints using Microsoft Intune.

· Provide occasional user support to the Tely Team.

· Coordinate corporate software licensing.

· Manage inventory and help develop the asset management system.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field with a minimum experience of 3 years in a similar role.

· Experience with eCommerce architecture, especially Magento 2 and PHP runtime.

· Basic cloud operations knowledge (AWS, IaC Terraform, architecture & design, security, and scaling concepts).

· Good knowledge of core IT functions (Microsoft 365, Intune, and infrastructure).

· A self-starter with a proactive attitude, a desire to take ownership of tasks, and a willingness to learn and grow in different areas.

· Ability to work independently and identify opportunities for process improvement.

· Good collaboration and communication skills.

· Ability to periodically travel to our pharmacy locations when necessary.
