Pay Range: $26.61 - $38.59 / hour

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Provides radiologic imaging and patient care services at defined levels to patients.
• Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Utilizes ALARA principles during examinations.
• Implements radiation protection and safety standards.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Minimum:

• Completion of accredited Radiologic Technologist program.

Preferred:

• Experience as a hospital radiographer

**Must provide copy of diploma/degree for highest level of education obtained**

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

• Certification by ARRT in Radiology.
• Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency).
• CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Minimum:

• Previous healthcare experience (clinical training during Rad Tech program will count as experience)

Preferred:

• Two years of clinical experience
