About This Position
We are currently looking for a Oracle EPM Techno Functional Developer to work from Atlanta GA . Looking for someone with over 10 years of experience in the EPM Module.
• Prior experience working with the Oracle EPM SaaS application suite
• Must understand and be knowledgeable in technology solutions that could impact business partners
• Extensive understanding of the Budgeting business areas supported
• Must demonstrate the capability to readily grasp organizational budget processes and requirements
• Three or more years of experience leading or coordinating technology solutions support
• Proven record of accomplishment to achieve measurable business results working with and through others, including geographically dispersed teams
• Proven analytical skills, problem solving skills, and project management skills
• Must demonstrate leadership skills to build strong, results-oriented teams
Major Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager, Finance & Tax Technology COE and the Finance & Tax Technical Supervisor to:
o Assess options from vendors and subsequently develop and execute the long-term application life cycle roadmaps including the processes to procure and maintain Oracle Planning application licenses and Oracle vendor support
o Coordinate the planning and execution of Southern Company release cycles for Oracle EPM
o Develop and execute a communication plan to notify the user communities for upcoming operational or project activity
• Ensure that Oracle Planning technical application configuration documentation is maintained with all technical specifications (e.g., configuration changes)
• Develop and execute Southern Company’s Oracle Planning development strategy (i.e., User requests for enhancements and configuration changes)
• Introduce and develop a business case for changes to improve platform stability, system performance, or enhance the Planning & Budgeting user experience, as necessary
• Coordinate the implementation of Oracle EPM Cycle Patches for Oracle Planning & Oracle Financials
• Serve as the SME to manage and execute refreshes between environments
o Confirm start and successful completion of refresh activities
o Execute Oracle Planning environment refreshes
o Ensure environment availability after Oracle Planning refresh activities
o Communicate refresh activities to stakeholders and users
• Serve as one of the primary points of contact for Customer Support and other vendor interaction for Oracle EPM
• Serve as the primary SME and coordinate the activities to administer/configure the Oracle EPM modules, including focus on Smart View and EPM Automate
• Serve as the Oracle EPM SME to execute and coordinate the activities of other analysts, as called upon, to monitor the Oracle load process (ad hoc requests and nightly scheduled loads), data validation, and to address load issues
• Submit to Oracle and subsequently coordinate implementation of Oracle Planning solutions to resolve Service Requests (SR) and/or Enhancement Requests (ER).
• Execute and / or coordinate activities necessary to maintain EPM Automate and Alteryx servers
• Oversee the configuration and execution of the Autosys (Nightly Automation) jobs that support Southern Company Budgeting
• Collaborate with the teams that support applications that integrate with Oracle Planning to maintain effective interface functionality (includes modifications & enhancements)
• Serve as the SME to execute or coordinate activities to configure and maintain Financial Consolidation & Close (FCC), and Account Reconciliation Cloud Services (ARCS) under circumstances that are beyond the scope of work expected of the Budgeting & Reporting Shared Services group
• Collaborate with the teams that support applications that integrate with FCC, and ARCS to maintain effective interface functionality
