Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Civil Project Engineer with strong technical expertise in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, with a primary focus on site grading, storm water/drainage, and overall site design. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the planning and execution of civil site development projects for commercial, industrial, or municipal clients.Key Responsibilities:Design and produce construction drawings and plans using AutoCAD Civil 3DPerform site grading, layout, and stormwater management designs for various land development projectsDevelop storm drainage calculations, detention/retention systems, and erosion control plansCoordinate designs with clients, project managers, and regulatory agenciesPrepare construction documents, specifications, and permitting packagesSupport project submittals and respond to agency review commentsConduct site visits as needed to assess conditions and verify design elementsEnsure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and environmental regulationsQualifications:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field3+ years of experience in civil site development or land development engineeringProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is requiredExperience in site grading, storm water/drainage, and site layout designFamiliarity with local and state regulatory permitting processesStrong communication and organizational skillsEIT or PE license preferred but not required
Preferred Experience:Commercial, residential, or municipal site development projectsHydrology modeling software (e.g., Hydraflow, StormCAD, HEC-RAS)Knowledge of sustainable and low-impact site design practices
