Staff/Senior Accountant at PCI Race Radios – Cypress, California

PCI Race Radios is the leading provider of high quality communication, navigation and safety equipment in the off-road racing and recreational market. PCI is located in Cypress, California and we attend events throughout the Southwest US and Mexico. We have a diverse product line of manufactured and resale items. Our inventory catalog is complex with manufacturing and BOM/Kit items.

This is an in-office position located in Cypress, California. No relocation or VISA sponsorship available for this position.

Position Objective:

The Staff/Senior Accountant is responsible for all accounting functions and accounting software. Providing information that will assist management in making educated economic decisions about the company's future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate reporting.
• Analysis: Analyzing financial data, identifying discrepancies, and providing insights to management.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
• Accounts payable: Matching receivers to invoices and sending payments to suppliers.
• Accounts receivable: Sending statements and following up on payments for a small group of customers with terms.
• Audits: Assisting with internal and external audits.
• Budgeting: Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Accounting Software: Meet with accounting software development team to identify issues and change orders.
• Cash Reconciliation: Reconcile event cash and make deposits.
• Process Payroll: Using ADP Workforce.
• Inventory Cycle Counts: Coordinate with WH team to help with inventory adjustments.
• Tax Filings: Prepare and file sales tax returns with multiple states and jurisdictions.
• Price lists: Assist inventory team with price adjustments and sales team with dealer price list creation.

Position Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Accounting and Financial roles with 3+ years of managerial experience in an organization of at least 25 employees.
• 3+ years of experience with an ERP system such as Xorosoft or NetSuite.
• Experience with Shopify.
• Experience in retail, wholesale and large inventory catalogs.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, GAAP and tax laws.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000 – 90,000 per year
