• You’ll be the technical owner of that platform—green-field enough to invent, stable enough to scale.

What you’ll do % Mission 40 % - Own the architecture. Refactor our custom CTMS (Salesforce + Cloudbyz) into a clean, API-driven data layer that fuels Castor EDC, OCR pipelines, and BI. 25 % - Lead the build/SDLC. Run a hybrid team—1 internal admin, 3–4 offshore devs, a UX agency—and institute Git-based DevOps, test automation, and release gates. 20 % - Integrations & data governance. Design secure flows for PHI, e-source, adjudication panel, and future AI modules; own HIPAA/SOX/SOC2 controls. 10 % - Product strategy. Partner with Conall on roadmap (site-identification AI, nurse-CRA dashboards, sponsor portals). 5 % - Mentor & evangelize. Level-up CRAs and project associates so they live the data model, not work around it.

What you’ve done

• 8 + yrs Salesforce engineering—with 3 + yrs as chief/lead architect on multi-cloud orgs (Sales, Service, Platform, Experience).

• Designed at least one regulated-data platform (life-sciences, fintech, or health-tech).

• Built high-volume integrations (REST / GraphQL / Mulesoft / AWS API Gateway).

• Led distributed dev teams (on-shore + off-shore) and enforced CI/CD (Gearset, Copado, SFDX, or similar).

• Comfortable translating between CEOs, CRAs, and nurses—equal parts whiteboard and GxP fine print.

Bonus points

• CTMS, EDC or eCOA experience (Veeva, Cloudbyz, Medidata, Castor, etc.).

• Salesforce Health Cloud, Einstein Analytics / CRM-Analytics, Heroku.

• OCR / NLP pipelines; Gen-AI prompt engineering.

• Previous stint in an early-stage CRO, diagnostics, or med-device startup.
