About the RoleOperations is a brand new team at Kick. Think of us as business generalists who apply domain expertise in finance or accounting to partner directly with customers and translate what we learn directly into prototypes and software. This is a unique opportunity to push your bar for what’s possible and break into product or bizops at a AI-native startup going through rapid growth.

What You’ll DoWork directly with customers to create great customer experiences and incorporate feedback into new products.Work closely with the CEO, Design and Engineering teams to develop useful prototypes and drive new features through the full product development lifecycle.Collaborate with Growth, Sales and CX teams on content, partnerships and establishing new market segments.Partner with the AI team to develop, maintain, and improve our industry-leading AI agents.Ideal CandidateHas 5-7+ years of experience in consulting, accounting, finance (e.g. former MBB, Big 4, IB) or high-growth startups.Strong communicator who can navigate technical and non-technical conversations with accountants, business owners and the team.Track record of success with driving new projects from ideation to completion.Thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, and knows how to make progress without perfect information.Wants to work on something that scales beyond themselves and is excited to shape the future of accounting software.Bonus if youHave been self-employed, ran a side business, or served small-business owners.Have basic coding experience (SQL, JavaScript, Python) or experimented with code gen tools (Cursor, Claude Code).Have advanced business credentials (MS/MBA, CPA, CFA).LocationDowntown Palo Alto, in person, 4 days per week.1 block from the Palo Alto Caltrain Express stop.Candidates should be based in the Bay Area or open to relocation.What We OfferTop-of-market $150,000–$200,000 + meaningful equity.Employee-friendly equity (QSBS eligible).100% employer paid medical, dental, and vision benefits.Apple laptop/headset, health/commuter stipends.Daily lunch and unlimited Verve coffee.
