Project Manager at Limetree Bay Terminals LLC – Christiansted, Virgin Islands, U.S.

Project Manager

Summary of Position

The Project Manager (PM) will manage the planning activities and resources of multiple capital projects ranging in size from $20M to $50MM to capture specific business objectives. Using project management, leadership, and prioritization skills, you will develop scopes/project execution plans, and coordinate cost estimates, budgets, and schedules with project controls. The PM will manage all resources available to meet all project milestones and execute projects from conception to start-up. Under management’s guidance, you will have the authority to formulate and execute budgets and will be responsible for the cost and schedule performance of projects.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar field strongly preferred or high school diploma with 15 or more years of relevant experience.
• PMP Certification a plus.

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of Terminal, Refinery or Petrochemical experience. Experience in the transfer and shipping / tank farm products, preferred.
• Prior experience and proven accomplishments in definition and installation of capital projects in a Terminal, Refinery or Petrochemical environment, marine terminal and tank experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Broad knowledge and experience with the Project Management Process
• Strong estimating, budgeting, forecasting, economic evaluation, and statistical analysis skills.
• Proven and demonstrated record with respect to executing significant projects on time and on budget.
• Demonstrated project management knowledge and implementation experience in related industry best practices.
• Possess a strong commitment to safety and demonstrates the ability to proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking skills.
• Demonstrated experience working with influence management, including conflict resolution and the ability to lead both internal/external resources to achieve goals.
• Results driven with strong planning and organization skills.
• Demonstrated ability to empower the workforce and develop alignment with multiple department groups.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Working knowledge with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) platforms (e.g., NetSuite.)
• Mastery level knowledge in using MS Project.
• Working Knowledge of using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Demonstrated ability to influence others.

Applicable Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability and willingness to work extended hours, nights, rotating shifts, and holidays when required.
• Ability to obtain, or currently possess, a valid Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).

Physical Requirements

• This position will require both office and field work.
• Ability to occasionally lift to 50 pounds, push and pull, reach overhead, operate hand tools, stoop and squat, wear breathing apparatus, enter confined spaces and utilize all necessary personal protective equipment.

Location of Position is St. Croix, USVI
