Registered Nurse (RN ST) at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Staff RN that will work in labor and delivery and obstetrical ED. Will take care of all obstetrical patients. Coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• R.N. with a current license to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Louisiana.
• Skill and proficiency in applying highly technical principles, concepts and techniques which are central to the professional discipline of nursing.
• Human relation skills in interviewing and communication.
• Ability to use initiative in decision making and independent judgement.
