335 Restaurant Supervisor at Leech Lake Gaming – Shingobee on the Bay; Walker, Minnesota

POSITION SUMMARY

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the highest quality guest service involved with all food service outlets within the casino.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Has the ability to perform all functions of supervised positions.
2. Trains all new and existing front of the house employees in guest service and satisfaction
3. Interfaces with kitchen staff on quality and production to include ticket times and presentation.
4. Assures that proper sanitation procedures are implemented and carried out to state and local health standards.
5. Ensures that all service standards and procedures are enforced.
6. Assists management in seeking out ways to improve sales and profits.
7. Assist in employee time management, documentation, scheduling, discipline and injury reports.
8. Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
9. Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
10. Maintains confidentiality at all times.
11. Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
12. Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
13. Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Previous supervisory experience.
2. Excellent time management, organizational, public relations and communications skills.
3. Ability to resolve conflicts efficiently and professionally.
4. Ability to work flexible hours, rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
5. Must meet State Compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check, and submit to random drug testing.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Physically capable of remaining on feet for long periods of time.
2. Subject to internal working conditions, including a smoking environment.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

Education Required: High School Diploma or General Education Equivalency (GED)

Education Preferred:
