We are looking for individuals who are mechanically inclined and willing to learn. As of now, no lead or foreman or journeyman positions are available only entry level.
Here at Pilgrim Communications, Inc, we enjoy a fast paced industry that's fun, exciting and there's no other job like it. We are a leader in building, repairing and maintaining cell phone towers/structures here in the Pacific northwest.
You don't need to know everything, we can help train you, having basic telecommunication knowledge is big plus. This job requires the person to be able to climb different styles of cell sites (monopole, freestanding, guyed towers and water tanks at extreme heights. Strict adherence to local, state, and federal safety guidelines regarding fall protection and PPE usage. Able to take direction and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Basic knowledge of communications terminology and equipment. Andrews, Commscope, Anritsu, and Gravitec supervision a plus(but not required). Valid Washington state drivers license and good driving record required. Out of town and maintenance window work necessary up to 90% of the time. Most of the time, our crews are home for the weekend, but not all the time. Many other companies crews can be on the road for months at a time.

- Works well with others
- Must be able to pass drug test and back ground check
- Willing to travel, within the NW. usually, home every weekend.
- Able to work at Extreme Heights and extreme weather conditions
- Knowledge of PIM testing, Anritsu Sweep testing NOT required, but a plus (we can help with the training)
- Climb Certs are a plus but NOT required (we can help with the training)
- High attention to detail
- Able to consistently lift 50+ Lbs throughout the day
- Pass a health examination/physical
- Must read, write and speak English fluently
