Lead Preschool Teacher at Higher Learning Academy Inc – Spring Valley, California

About the Role:

As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth of young children. You will lead a team of teachers and assistants, ensuring that they are providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children in our care. Your role will be critical in fostering positive relationships with families and maintaining open communication with them. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and assessments of each child's progress.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Aossosiate Degress or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Teacher's permit (or eligible)
• Familiar with DRDP/ ASQ's
• Experience working with young children

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Experience in a leadership role
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Skills:

You will also need to have strong organizational and time-management skills to maintain accurate records and assessments. In addition, you will need to have a deep understanding of child development and be able to create and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Finally, bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred but not required.
