About Architech Sports and Physical Therapy

At Architech Sports, we specialize in Athletic Performance Therapy, helping athletes return to sport stronger, more resilient, and better prepared for long-term performance. Our care model goes beyond treating pain and focuses on sports rehabilitation, performance-based care, and athlete development.

We are here to serve our athletes, our community, and each other. If you are looking to work in a fun, collaborative, and driven environment where growth is supported and your work makes a meaningful impact, we would love to hear from you.

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Athletic Director to lead and deliver top-tier clinical care. This role is purely clinical, working in partnership with a Physical Therapist. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven professional who thrives in a team setting, provides expert care, and is committed to continuous professional development.

If you're looking to make an impact in sports medicine, collaborate with elite professionals, and help athletes perform at their best, we encourage you to apply!

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive athletic training services to patients within the Cornelius clinic, focusing on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimization.
  • Conduct injury evaluations, functional assessments, and treatment planning, working collaboratively with Physical Therapists.
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs to enhance recovery and reduce re-injury risk.
  • Provide manual therapy, taping/wrapping, bracing, and exercise-based interventions as part of patient treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment logs, and clinic records.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, movement mechanics, and return-to-play protocols.

Clinic Operations & Collaboration

  • Work closely with Physical Therapists to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Independently manage a clinic schedule, with oversight from a PT.
  • Assist in developing and implementing best practices for clinic workflows, treatment approaches, and patient engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with state and national regulations for athletic training services.

Professional Development & Community Engagement

  • Stay up to date on advancements in sports medicine and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical expertise.
  • Engage with the local sports and fitness community, representing Architech Sports as a leader in athletic performance and recovery.

Qualities We're looking for:

  • Leadership & Decision-Making: Ability to lead effectively and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Independence & Initiative: Ability to work confidently and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Teamwork & Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with peers, athletes and community partners.
  • Commitment to Growth: A desire to continuously improve skills and stay informed of best practices in athletic training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Athletic Training.
  • Certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers (BOC)
  • Current CPR/AED certification.
  • Strong knowledge of injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation techniques.

What We Offer:

  • Comprehensive Benefits: Architech offers medical, dental, and vision plans, plus employer-paid life insurance. Need more coverage? We’ve got options like accident and critical illness insurance too. We also will begin matching your 401(k) contributions after just 90 days of employment.
  • Paid Time Off: We offer paid time off to help you balance work and life.
  • Continuing Education Reimbursement: We’ll help with the cost of continuing education so you can stay sharp and improve your skills.
  • Architech U: An 8-week immersive development program designed to onboard and support new hires in learning and applying Architech’s Athletic Performance Therapy model, with structured training and hands-on integration into our sports-focused care approach.
  • Ongoing Growth and Development: Beyond Architech U, clinicians have access to continued mentorship and development as well as opportunities to expand clinical and leadership skills.
