Requirements:

Position Summary

We are seeking a Field Technician with 1-3 years of experience to support geotechnical and instrumentation field projects. The role involves fieldwork, equipment management, site monitoring, and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform instrumentation installations, inspections, maintenance, and removals for construction projects.
  • Conduct field surveys as needed.
  • Record site observations through detailed field notes, daily reports, photos, and logs.
  • Manage, track, and maintain field equipment inventory to ensure operational readiness.
  • Coordinate with Instrumentation Engineers and Project Managers for timely deployment of field equipment.
  • Configure and update equipment using appropriate software tools; upload and organize data.
  • Work with multiple clients, contracts, and projects at the same time
  • Be able to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Interact and communicate with clients, vendors, and staff at all levels
  • Ability to travel to multiple project locations as needed

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelors in engineering or construction related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in construction or geotechnical field preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Software including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to Interact with client representatives
  • Basic computer programming and data management skills
  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and carry at least 50 pounds.
