Assistant Superintendent in Olathe, Kansas at Bach Team LLC

Bach Team's Multi-Family Division is seeking a full-time assistant superintendent for apartment developments around the American Fork, UT area. Experience with Multi-Family developments required.

Assistant Superintendent Duties:

• Knowledge of the trades required for wood-framed construction.
• Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the project.
• The ability to comprehensively read and understand Plans, Shop drawings, and Submittals.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Maintains construction schedule with the ability to identify and solve issues
• OSHA 30, CPR and First Aid Certifications preferred.
• Experience with basic MS Windows software (Excel, Projects, Word)
• Maintains positive relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other employees.
• Enforces and monitors site safety protocol and rectify job site hazards immediately.
• Daily management of on-site staff and laborers.

Assistant Superintendent Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and/or related software.
• Ability to read construction drawings and understand industry scopes of work.
• At least 3 years of construction experience are required. Preferably with multi-family construction.
• Must be able to traverse and Jobsite all areas of jobsite in all types of weather (this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching).
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
• Exposure to typical construction site dangers.
