The Role
The Marketing Data Scientist will own the analytical and modeling strategy that powers customer acquisition and marketing investment decisions.
This role is responsible for transforming large-scale marketing and customer data into predictive models, experimentation frameworks, and decision systems that directly impact:
- Revenue growth
- Customer lifetime value (LTV)
- Return on marketing spend (ROI)
This position plays a critical role in optimizing multi-channel acquisition strategy and influencing company-wide growth initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Design and deploy predictive models that optimizecustomer acquisition, LTV, andmarketing spendallocation
- Build and refineexperimentation frameworks (A/B testing, causal inference)to measure true incremental impact
- Analyze customer behavior and identify opportunities to driveincremental revenue and efficiency
- Partner with Marketing, Finance, and Leadership to align insightswithbusiness strategy and profitability goals
- Translate complex analyses intoclear, executive-ready recommendations
- Establish best practices formarketing analytics, model monitoring, and continuous optimization
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and IT to ensuredata quality, integrity, and scalability
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years in data science, marketing analytics, or a related quantitative role
- Strong proficiency in Python or R and SQL
- Experience applyingpredictive modeling and statistical methods to real business problems
- Hands-on experience with:
- A/B testing and experimentation design
- Customer segmentation and targeting
- Marketing performance metrics (CAC, LTV, ROI, attribution)
- Experience building and deploying models in production environments
- Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability totranslate analytics into revenue impact
- Excellent communicationskills—abilityto influence non-technical stakeholders
- Preferred: experience with modern ML frameworks, visualization tools, and cloud platforms
