Nurse Neonatal Transport Specialist at University Health System- San Antonio – San Antonio, Texas

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide safe medical transport for high risk and critical ill newborn patients via fixed wing, rotor wing and ground ambulance. Utilize critical thinking skills and established guidelines to function as a mobile intensive care unit. Serve as a clinical role model, resource and mentor for colleagues

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Register nurse with 2 years of experience in a level III NICU. Required current NRP and BLS certification. BSN preferred.

LICENSURE
Current professional license from the Board of Nurse Examiners of the State of Texas to practice as a Registered Nurse is required. National certification is required within two years of hire.
