Nursing Assistant - Med/Surg H2 Part-time Days Lawrence in Lawrence, Massachusetts at Merrimack Health

POSITION SUMMARY: Nursing Assistant Med/Surg H2, Part-time 24 Hours per Week, Days 7am to 3:30 pm. Lawrence campus

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• A variety of Clinical Measures, including monitoring vital signs and oxygen levels
• Bathing, observation and meals
• ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
• Answering call buttons
• Ensures patient care is delivered by age-specific category requirements and established policy and procedure for all patient populations
• Responds promptly and compassionately to patient needs and requests. Must have a can-do attitude, with a strong focus on teamwork, and possess excellent customer service skills

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent or five years of experience in lieu of degree
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish-English) is helpful but not required.
• An every-other-weekend schedule commitment is required.
