Division Environmental Manager at HB NEXT – Knoxville, Tennessee

HB NEXT is seeking a Division Environmental Manager for our Tennessee team. This person will lead inspection operations and manage teams of Environmental Consultants across multiple projects and clients. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys balancing people leadership, operational planning, and quality control—while driving consistency, efficiency, and growth.

You’ll play a key role in day-to-day operations, team development, and performance management, ensuring our inspection and environmental services continue to meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

Lead & Support Teams

Manage and mentor Environmental Consultants and inspection staff.

Coordinate PTO, vacation schedules, and coverage planning.

Approve timecards and conduct annual performance reviews.

Support team development through coaching and training.

Oversee Operations

Schedule and assign inspection routes using mapping and planning tools.

Ensure inspection platforms and reporting tools are used effectively.

Participate in preconstruction meetings and project kickoff coordination.

Drive Quality & Performance

Conduct internal site quality audits and quarterly reviews.

Identify training needs and support ongoing professional development.

Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs).

Ensure consistent quality, productivity, and compliance across projects.

Support Growth & Leadership

Manage and support monthly recurring revenue goals.

Participate in leadership and management development programs.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the division.

Experience in environmental services, inspections, construction compliance, or consulting preferred.

Comfortable using task management, mapping, and reporting platforms.
