Warehouse Lead & Driver in Ashland, Virginia at Heritage Encon Group Inc

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead & Driver to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience in managing warehouse operations and making deliveries in up to a 26' Box Truck.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of a building materials distribution warehouse

Read and understand shipping and receiving documents, count product as received, shipped, and for perpetual inventory

Load and unload trucks

Communicate and collaborate with other branch staff and drivers regarding inventory, daily delivery routes, etc.

Pull orders in an efficient, accurate, and safe manner

Safely operate Forklift and other warehouse equipment
Deliver products to customer locations in a timely manner in various vehicles including a pick up truck, 16' box truck, and 26' box truck
Inspect and monitor delivery vehicles for safe operations and to meet regulatory requirements
Maintain paperwork as necessary to document materials delivered or received

Experience in warehouse operations and product delivery

Clean driving record

Ability to handle physical workload

Deadline-oriented

Friendly, cooperative and respectful with customers, employees, and management
