Reports To: Golf Operations Manager and Golf Supervisor
Department: Golf Clubhouse
Status: Seasonal, Full-Time
Expected Start Date: April 29, 2026
Pay Range: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
POSITION OVERVIEW: The Golf Cart Attendant is responsible for maintaining, cleaning, staging, and organizing the golf cart fleet and cart shack to ensure the highest quality guest experience possible. This role supports daily golf operations through cart management, driving range upkeep, and general facility presentation. This is a fast-paced, physically active role requiring attention to detail, urgency, and personal accountability. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Cart Fleet Management:
- Clean, sanitize, and detail carts after every use. Interior, exterior, and storage areas.
- Fuel carts and monitor the carts are operating properly.
- Inspect carts for damage and report all information to MOD immediately and remove cart from staged fleet.
- Stage carts accurately according to the tee sheet and ensure that they are stocked with a scorecard, pencil, and tees.
- Maintain an organized and clean cart shack
Guest Service:
- Greet golfers at their car with a ready cart and tee sheet so that you can mark which tee time they are. Greetings with professionalism and a helpful attitude that effectively anticipates their needs.
- Maintain a positive, calm demeanor during peak times so that our golfers feel at ease and feel confident in the operation.
- Always embody the operation with reliability, confidence, and professionalism.
Practice Facility and Clubhouse Facility Responsibilities:
- Pick, wash, and restock driving range balls.
- Maintain practice tee organization and move as dictated based on day of the week.
- Keep range presentation up to daily standards.
- Using attention to detail to keep the cart staging area clean and presentable.
- Empty ALL outdoor trashcans and sweep deck.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist and support other departments for races, events and operations on high volume days.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
- Able to work cooperatively with other staff members and take direction from others.
- Talking to others to convey information effectively.
- Ability to read and speak English and basic level.
- Actively looking for ways to help people.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Detail-oriented and strong systems minded.
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable.
- Strong team mentality and positive attitude under pressure.
- Weekend and Holiday availability required.
