Responsibilities

  • Full-Time | Project Site Based (Greater Central Florida & Travel as Needed)

    A well-established Central Florida multifamily general contractor is seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Superintendent to join our field operations team.

    This position supports the Project Superintendent with day-to-day coordination and supervision of subcontractors, suppliers, and field activities to ensure all work meets quality, safety, and schedule standards. Our ground-up multifamily projects are located primarily within 100 miles north and south of I-4, and our renovation projects can occur anywhere in the U.S. — so the ideal candidate must be willing and able to travel when required.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist the Project Superintendent with on-site coordination of subcontractors and vendors
    • Monitor field activities for quality, safety, and compliance with contract documents
    • Verify materials, deliveries, and installation accuracy
    • Support scheduling, punch-list management, and project closeout
    • Promote a strong safety culture on every site
    • Communicate effectively with field personnel, suppliers, and project management

  • Qualifications

    • 2–5 years of field experience with a general contractor (multifamily preferred)
    • Working knowledge of construction means, methods, and materials
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Procore preferred
    • OSHA 30 certification a plus
    • Ability and willingness to travel to projects outside Central Florida when required
