Produce Assistant at Station Street IGA – Fairfield, Victoria

We have an exciting opening for a first-class produce assistant to join our team! Our ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for fruit & veg, customer service, can operate efficiently in a busy work environment and has an interest in growing into managing a team.

Responsibilities include:

• Receiving and unloading produce deliveries

• Quality checks and rotation of produce

• cleaning

• Assisting in resolving customer complaints or feedback

• Strong work ethic

• Positive attitude

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to speak, read, and communicate proficiently in English

• Basic math - ability to calculate and solve equations

• Able to lift and carry up to 20kg

Experience required:

• Previous experience in grocery preferred but not required

• Proven experience in handling stress or high-pressure environment

• **must be available during the day (not in school)**
