Patient Care Technician at Parkview Health – Logansport, Indiana

Summary: Under the direction of a licensed Nurse and with respect for human dignity delivers a variety of high quality, basic patient care services that meet the needs and uniqueness of assigned patients. Is responsible for the delivery of quality care and service excellence; and adheres to the PH Standards of Behavior.

Education: High school diploma or the equivalent with a GED. Must have either current CNA or 2 years previous experience as Nursing Assistant within Parkview or currently be enrolled in a nursing program.

Licensure/Certification: CNA certification preferred or the equivalent of health care experience and education. Must have current CPR or obtain within 60 days of hire

Experience: Prefer one year minimum of experience working in the patient care setting, preferably as a patient care giver.

Other Qualifications: Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Demonstrate ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills.
