About This Position

Description:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Advanced-level testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems at the board and system level

· Lead complex debug efforts on printed circuit assemblies, identifying root cause and implementing corrective actions

· Develop, validate, and improve test processes, procedures, and test fixtures for production and engineering

· Support and perform PCBA programming, firmware loading, and configuration of embedded systems

· Analyze test failures and drive yield improvement initiatives in collaboration with Engineering and Manufacturing teams

· Interpret and work from engineering documentation including schematics, layouts, ECNs, and specifications to diagnose issues efficiently

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Test Technicians Level I and II

· Interface with Engineering to support NPI (New Product Introduction), test development, and process validation

· Recommend and implement improvements to test methods, tooling, and equipment to increase efficiency and reliability

· Perform advanced functional testing using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, RF power meters, and other specialized equipment

· Lead troubleshooting of electro-mechanical assemblies and integrated systems

· Document detailed failure analysis, corrective actions, and test results; support reporting for internal and customer requirements

· Ensure compliance with all quality standards and contribute to achieving zero defect objectives

· Support witness testing, audits, and customer interactions as required

· Assist in maintaining calibration, upkeep, and readiness of test equipment and workstations

· Perform mechanical operations necessary for installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of systems

SCHEDULE:

Normal work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7am until 5:30pm with lunch and breaks. Some overtime may be required as needed.

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience (Bachelor’s preferred)

· 5+ years experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies and systems

· Strong expertise in advanced debug techniques, including signal tracing and fault isolation

· Experience with test development, fixture design, or process improvement

· Proficient in PCBA programming, firmware loading, and configuration tools

· Thorough understanding of analog and digital electronics, including mixed-signal systems

· Ability to read and interpret complex engineering documentation (schematics, layouts, ECNs, etc.)

· Strong experience with electronic test equipment and instrumentation

· Demonstrated ability to lead troubleshooting efforts and mentor junior technicians

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis

· Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, SAP, and test/software tools)

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including customer-facing interactions
