Job Summary:
Linkletter Farms is seeking a reliable and team-oriented Farm Operator. Responsibilities include operating various farm machinery. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and adherence to safety regulations are essential for this role. Willingness to learn is essential. Training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Follow standard operating procedures when performing on-the-farm activities as directed by your supervisor.
• Adhere to health and safety standards to minimize workplace risks and follow food safety protocols.
• Keep the farm and its properties tidy.
• Operate farm equipment such as the windrower and tillers, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition. Conduct daily checks before and after use.
• Responsibilities are not limited to this guideline.

Qualifications:

• Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license and class
• Minimum of 2 years driving experience
• Pesticide Applicator Certificate preferred
• Willingness to learn
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Job Location: Linkletter, Prince Edward Island

Benefits and Compensation Information:

• Hours of work are dependent on production. Flexibility to work on days, evenings and Saturdays would be required.
