CAREGiver at Home Instead – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

As a CAREGiver, you would work one-on-one with clients in their homes, providing a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain safe in their homes and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.
Logistics:

4-Hour or 12-Hour shifts or overnight shifts

Saturday OR Sunday availability required

Overtime availability

All clients in Center City, South Philly, West Philly, and parts of North/Northeast Philadelphia

Pay Range:

$15.50/hr on weekdays

$16.50/hr on weekends

Time and a half for overtime and company holidays

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of personal or professional experience

Minimum of 20 hours of availability per week

Ability to lift 25 pounds

Clear background check and pre-employment drug screening in accordance with state requirements

Responsibilities:

Companionship and conversation

Personal care and bathing assistance

Toileting assistance and incontinence care

Walking, dressing, and transferring assistance

Alzheimer's/Dementia care

Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation

Medication and appointment reminders

Hospice support
