Registered Nurse at Parkview Health – Fort Wayne, Indiana

The Inpatient Oncology Unit is a 24-bed, high-acuity, acute care unit located on the 4th floor of the South Tower at Parkview Regional Medical Center. The team provides comprehensive care for patients undergoing active cancer treatment, as well as those receiving palliative, end-of-life, or inpatient hospice care. Nurses on this unit care for medically complex patients who often require prolonged hospitalization and frequent transfers to and from advanced care units.

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus

Qualifications:

• Requires a Diploma in nursing or an ASN/BSN
• Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license required. CPR certification.
• Additional certifications may be required for specified areas.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with 100 pounds. (Lifting requirements may be heavier for specified departments.) Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
