About This Position

The Inside Sales and Service Associate will be the frontline driver of revenue growth - activating new customers, expanding existing accounts, and winning back customers who've gone elsewhere. This position will use a proven sales methodology to teach customers about hidden costs, tailor solutions to their specific needs, and confidently guide them to better purchasing decisions. This is strategic, consultative selling position, becoming a trusted advisor to businesses that rely on paper, packaging, and wide format printing materials to run their operations. (This is meant to be a guide. Duties may vary dependent upon management.)

Essential Position Functions:

Execute disciplined, high-volume outbound calling, email, and social campaigns to engage prospects, dormant accounts, and expansion opportunities with compelling value propositionsProactively engage, manage, and grow by reactivation a portfolio of lapsed, churned, or lagging performance accounts to manage full sales cycles from initial contact through negotiation, close, and re-order purchase establishmentChallenge customer assumptions and teach new perspectives on their business problems using insights and industry knowledge to uncover latent opportunities within accountsIncrease order size and frequency by teaching customers about inventory optimization, bulk purchasing advantages, other consolidation benefits, and total cost implications beyond unit priceDrive pipeline velocity by qualifying, advancing, and steering momentum in sales efforts toward closeDevelop and deliver customized solution presentations tailored to specific stakeholder prioritiesPrepare accurate quotes, proposals, and programs based on customer requirements and margin targetsMaintain and update CRM, sales automation, and other tools with accurate account information, activities, and sales forecastBuild and manage a qualified pipeline representing 3-4x quota coverageCollaborate with operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillmentAchieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas for revenue and marginStay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive landscapeParticipate in sales training, coaching sessions, and team meetings Build relationships with cross-departmental leaders and customers to address and resolve post-sale customer issues and disputes.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through tools, automation, targeting, and workflow enhancementsPrepare and present regular performance reports, insights, and recommendations to leadershipOther duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred2+ years of B2B inside sales experience with a track record of consistently exceeding quotaExperience or working knowledge of Challenger Sales MethodologyProven success in scaling inside sales organizations in a B2B environmentMerchant distribution experience preferred.Proven track record of managing teams to achieve revenue and margin targetsExcellent people and relationship skills.Proven attention to detail.Experience using ERP, CRM, service management, and contact center technologies, and sales performance toolsAbility to multitask and prioritize workload.Must have intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills. Must be able to efficiently use a Windows-based computer.Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner.Able to effectively handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communications skills.Must be able to read and communicate in English, for safe and effective performance of the job and business operations.Must be able to work alone, and with a team.Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
