About This Position

About Cozey

At Cozey, we’re all about empowering possibilities in your home and making furniture shopping as easy and enjoyable as possible. Our thoughtfully designed, stylish furnishings adapt to evolving lifestyles, combining innovation with a commitment to great value and customer service. As a fast-growing, online-first brand, our success is driven by a team that shares our passion for redefining the furniture experience.

The mission of the Manager, SEM & Catalog at Cozey

The Manager, SEM & Catalog at Cozey owns one of the company’s most leveraged growth systems: how customers find our products and how efficiently we convert that intent into revenue.

This role leads paid search and shopping at scale, with full ownership over strategy, and execution, while also stewarding the product catalogs that power performance across all major paid platforms. You’ll shape how Cozey shows up at moments of intent, how new products are launched and scaled, and how data is structured to support long-term growth.

More than a channel owner, you’ll act as a strategic partner within Performance Marketing by bringing clear POVs, driving experimentation, and building durable infrastructure that enables smarter decisions as the business evolves.

What you'll be doing

  • Own the planning, execution, and optimization of the full Google paid ecosystem, including Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen/YouTube, and remarketing
  • Drive SEM strategy across the customer journey, including results ownership and budget forecasting/pacing in partnership with the Performance Marketing Manager
  • Build and maintain scalable account structures and governance (brand vs non-brand, category segmentation, audience layers), ensuring clean documentation and change management
  • Own product catalog & feed performance across Google Merchant Center (and key paid ecosystems like Meta/Pinterest where relevant), Marpipe to maintain feed health, segmentation, and attribute quality that unlock efficient scale
  • Develop and optimize Performance Max and Shopping programs end-to-end (asset group strategy, audience signals, feed-driven segmentation, creative refresh cadence, and controls) to maximize incremental value and limit inefficiencies
  • Lead a structured testing roadmap across queries/keywords, feed attributes/segmentation, creative/messaging, and landing pages in partnership with Creative and Web teams translating insights into repeatable improvements in efficiency
  • Partner with Analytics to action on incrementality tests (e.g., holdouts, geo tests, lift studies / Haus), turning learnings into optimizations across bidding, budgets, targeting, and channel mix
  • Deliver clear weekly/monthly performance narratives and actionable insights, and leverage automation/scripts/AI tools to improve monitoring, standardize optimizations, and increase team efficiency

We'd love to hear from you if you have

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing Google SEM (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube, Demand Gen)
  • Proven experience managing and optimizing $15-$20MM+ annual paid search budgets
  • Experience working with high-AOV products
  • Proven experience managing complex product catalogs across paid platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to develop paid search strategies that ladder into broader Performance Marketing strategies
  • Solid understanding of attribution and performance measurement concepts
  • Experience in DTC, e-commerce, or retail

You’ll Be Successful in This Role If You

  • Think in systems, not just tactics. You care as much about account structure, feeds, and measurement foundations as you do about day-to-day optimizations, and you build things to last.
  • Have operated at real scale and complexity. You’re comfortable managing multi-million-dollar SEM programs, making trade-offs under budget pressure, and prioritizing what will move performance.
  • Bring clear, well-reasoned POVs. You don’t wait for perfect data. You form hypotheses, challenge assumptions, and can clearly explain why you believe something will work.
  • See catalogs and feeds as performance levers. You treat product data as a strategic input, using attributes, segmentation, and structure to unlock efficiency and scale across platforms.
  • Care deeply about measurement and truth. You’re thoughtful about attribution, incrementally, and what performance actually means.
  • Care about the brand, not just the numbers. You want growth that strengthens the customer experience and brand equity, not growth at any cost.

We care about you

  • You will receive a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefit package.
  • Endless opportunities for personal and professional growth in a fast-growing start-up.
  • A generous PTO policy that allows you the time you need to recharge.
  • A role where your strategies and decisions directly influence the company’s operations and growth.
  • A workspace where everyone is welcomed, heard, and valued.

Please note that we may use AI-powered tools to support parts of our hiring process, such as application screening and interview coordination.
