About the Role
We’re looking for a driven, curious, and relationship-focused individual to help grow our Food Ingredients business across Quebec, Ontario, and British Columbia.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, Quebec & Eastern Canada, you’ll own the full inside-sales cycle for a defined portfolio of customers while actively developing new business. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who enjoys connecting customer needs with innovative ingredient solutions—and wants to grow with a company that values collaboration and initiative.
What You’ll Do
Sales & Business Development
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts while responding to new account inquiries
- Proactively prospect and develop new business opportunities
- Meet and exceed established sales targets and performance goals
- Forecast sales, volume, margin, and product demand; communicate insights to management
- Participate in joint customer visits with Senior Account Managers as needed
Customer Experience & Technical Support
- Respond promptly to customer requests for samples, pricing, and technical information
- Provide product and application support using available tools and resources
- Resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and care
- Gather customer feedback and continuously identify opportunities to improve products and services
Market & Product Promotion
- Research the nutraceutical and food ingredient markets
- Contribute to market-specific sales strategies and promotional campaigns
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events, support display and promotional activities
- Attend supplier training sessions and sales meetings as required
Collaboration & Reporting
- Build strong working relationships across Sales, Marketing, Technical, and Operations teams
- Keep management informed of market trends, competitive activity, and key customer insights
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and required reports
- Support internal teams as needed to ensure customer success
What You Bring
- University degree in Food Science (or equivalent experience)
- Bilingual in French and English (required)
- Experience in the food or nutraceutical industry is a strong asset
- Strong consultative selling skills—able to ask great questions and connect needs to solutions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organized, self-motivated, and effective at managing priorities and follow-up
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Solid computer and CRM skills
- Growth mindset with a proactive, “can-do” approach
