About This Position

Mgr Facility Maintenance: Manages the facilities maintenance activities of a terminal.

Essential Duties

· Operate safely and in compliance with all established HSSE policies and procedures.

· Oversees tasks associated with the maintenance of buildings and grounds, including renovations, expansions, and improvements.

· Supervises janitorial services and grounds maintenance such as landscaping, lawn care and snow removal.

· Schedules maintenance and monitors the operation of all utility systems such as heating, ventilating and air conditioning.

· Coordinates and oversees the work of contractors, or subcontractors.

· Performs repairs and maintenance within scope of knowledge.

· Works closely with employees in work/repair areas to minimize hazards.

· Keeps facility maintenance tools and equipment in good working condition.

· Receives and reviews requests for maintenance and prioritizes maintenance activities based on urgency and availability of resources.

· Inspects building and grounds regularly to identify current and potential maintenance needs. Maintains records and documentation related to repairs made.

· Manages expenses associated with repairs and maintenance.

· Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED

· Forklift certified

· Loader certified

· At least 6 years of experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.

· Intermediate to advanced knowledge and skills in one or more fields (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, heating)

· Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

· Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills.

· Must be customer service focused.

· Ability to competently use MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

· Ability to work independently.
