Coatings Inspector QA/QC position at PALACIOS MARINE INDUSTRIAL COATINGS – Orange, Texas

• Inspect surface preparation to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Perform environmental monitoring (temperature, humidity, dew point, etc.).
• Conduct coating inspections during application and curing stages.
• Complete accurate and detailed documentation and inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with coating specifications, safety guidelines, and site requirements.
• Adhere to all GTPP site safety and procedural requirements.

Requirements:

• Active NACE Level 1 or Level 2 Coatings Inspector Certification (required).
• 2+ years of experience as a NACE coatings inspector.
• Strong understanding of coating systems and inspection methods.
• Proficiency using standard inspection tools (DFT gauges, profile gauges, adhesion testers, etc.).
• Ability to write clear and detailed technical reports.
• Physically able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying environmental conditions.

Preferred:

• Experience working in industrial, petrochemical, or similar facility environments.
• Familiarity with GTPP site processes or requirements.
