About This Position
Bio Fab Technologies is a custom stainless-steel fabricator that manufactures equipment for the Food and Pharmaceutical industries and with our continued growth we are looking to add an impact player to our team as a Polisher.
The polisher discolors and polishes various stainless steel parts including frames, manifolds, adapters, and spools.

The polisher discolors and polishes various stainless steel parts including frames, manifolds, adapters, and spools.
Job Responsibilities:
- Improvement of surface finish and correction of any material defects on stainless steel material.
- Operates equipment in accordance with specifications. Equipment may include pneumatic and electric hand grinders, pedestal grinders and buffers.
- Maintains tools and machinery as needed.
- Performs with high attention to detail and produces high-quality parts.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations, including the use of PPE.
- Assures parts are clean and placed in their respective areas for the next manufacturing process.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentations (work orders, drawings and specifications).
- Ability to follow work instructions and work well in a team.
- Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of polishing stainless-steel materials preferred
- Must be able to lift parts up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged time periods.
- Exposure to dust, odors, oil, fumes, noise, and different climate temperatures.
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
