THE OPPORTUNITY
The Program Coordinator will support operational logistics, program administration, student engagement, compliance processes, and communication efforts to ensure the safety, well being, and success of all program participants. This position will play a critical role in the successful delivery of Babson’s expanded pre collegiate summer offerings. Supporting the Pre-Collegiate Program Lead, this role helps ensure high quality experiences for high school students participating in Babson’s residential and commuter summer programs
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Program Operations & Logistics: Support daily logistics including checkin/checkout, attendance, scheduling, classroom coordination, meals, transportation, and activity setup. Assist with residential and commuter program operations in coordination with Student Life, Residential Life, Public Safety, Health Services, Facilities, and other campus partners. Monitor daytoday program flow and help troubleshoot operational challenges. Provide on-campus coverage during program sessions, including evenings and weekends, as scheduled.
Student Experience & Engagement: Assist with supervising students during program hours, activities, and events, ensuring safety and appropriate behavior. Support the planning and delivery of nonacademic enrichment activities in collaboration with Student Engagement and campus partners. Serve as a visible, supportive presence for high school students and provide customerservicecentered communication to parents/guardians.
Compliance, Safety & Risk Management: Support the Lead in ensuring that all state and local regulations pertaining to minors are upheld. Assist with collection and tracking of required forms, medical records, permissions, and documentation. Help monitor adherence to program policies and escalate student or safety concerns promptly and appropriately.
Staff, Faculty & Campus Partner Support: Coordinate schedules, materials, space reservations, and communication for faculty and instructional teams. Provide administrative and logistical support to student workers or paraprofessional staff as needed.
Administration & Communication: Support registration processes, database management, and operational reporting. Assist with drafting and distributing communications to parents/guardians, students, and internal partners. Help maintain updated program handbooks, schedules, and documentation.
Assist with budget tracking and purchasing needs.
Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 1-3 years of related experience.
Strong organizational, timemanagement, and multitasking skills in a fastpaced environment.
Demonstrated customerservice orientation, especially when interacting with parents/guardians.
Ability to quickly learn new technology platforms, such as CVENT, Workday and JIRA.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a crossfunctional team.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and escalate issues appropriately.
Ability to envision and propose new methods to perform tasks that support ET&A; take thoughtful risks; and accept new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.
Ability to anticipate and embrace change; demonstrate willingness to achieve, acquire, and utilize new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions.
Must have strong technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook/calendar) and Google Workspace.
Ability to work with ethnically, culturally, and socially diverse students, staff, faculty, and other constituencies.
HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK
This is a full-time temporary position working approximately 35 hours per week through August 2026.
Must be on campus during all program sessions; some evening and weekend hours will be required.
Campus housing during program sessions may be available depending on need and program structure (monthly taxes would be incurred as it is a taxable benefit).
ADDITIONAL SKILLS YOU MAY HAVE
Experience in youth programming, student affairs, K–12 or higher education, summer camps, or related settings preferred.
Experience with summer program registration systems or operational reporting a plus.
Familiarity with laws and regulations pertaining to minors in residential or youth program environments a plus.
Experience with workflow or project management tools a plus.
Multilingual skills a plus.
This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $33.00. This position includes paid sick leave where required by law. Eligibility, accrual, and usage will follow applicable state and local regulations.
