We’re looking for a Video Engineer who thrives in fast paced environments and takes pride in precision, problem solving, and show ready execution.
Summary:
As a Video Engineer with ON Services, you’ll support a wide range of live events across Atlanta and nationwide. You’ll work hands on with LED walls, switchers, cameras, playback systems, and signal distribution to ensure flawless visual delivery. This role requires technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the flexibility to travel for multi day or out of state events.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and strike video systems for corporate events, conventions, concerts, and special productions
- Build, configure, and troubleshoot LED walls, projection systems, and multi camera setups
- Operate video switchers (Ross, Barco, Blackmagic, or similar) during rehearsals and live shows
- Manage signal flow, routing, and distribution (SDI, HDMI, fiber, networking)
- Prep, test, and maintain video equipment in the ON Services Atlanta warehouse
- Work closely with project managers, lighting and audio teams, and other technicians to ensure seamless integration
- Support load ins and load outs as part of a coordinated crew
Education/Experience/Certification:
- Experience in live event video engineering (corporate AV, broadcast, touring, or similar)
- Strong understanding of video signal flow, switchers, LED processing, and playback systems
- Ability to read and follow technical documentation, schematics, and run of show materials
- Comfortable working at heights and performing physically demanding tasks
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer facing skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and extended hours during peak event periods
- Experience with media servers (Resolume, Watchout, Disguise, etc.)
- Familiarity with projection blending and mapping
- Certifications from manufacturers (Barco, Christie, NovaStar, etc.)
- Networking knowledge (VLANs, Dante AV, NDI, or similar)
Frequent travel is required for this position.
