Boom Truck Bobtail Driver at Calavo Growers Inc – Temecula, California

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Boom Truck Bobtail Driver to join our team in Temecula, CA. As a Boom Truck Bobtail Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a boom truck to deliver products to our customers. You will be a key member of our team, ensuring that our products are delivered on time and in excellent condition.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid CDL license with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Class A or Class B truck and trailer driver, must have a non expired class A or class B driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent communication and customer service skills when working with our customers and growers
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to operate manual and electric pallet jacks.
• The ability to work early in the morning, evening hours as well as Saturdays is required.
• Must be able to maintain a level of driving courtesy while on the road with all motorists.
• Commitment to the company’s values and ethics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the retail industry
• Experience with electronic logging devices

Responsibilities:

• Operate a boom truck to deliver products in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensure that products are delivered on time and in excellent condition
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

Skills:

As a Boom Truck Bobtail Driver, you will use your excellent driving skills and attention to detail to safely and efficiently deliver products to our customers. You will also use your communication and customer service skills to interact with customers and ensure that their needs are met. In addition, you will use your knowledge of the Temecula area to navigate to delivery locations and your ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all deliveries are completed on time and in excellent condition.
