Independent Contractor
Aspire Behavioral Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide early intervention services to infants and toddlers (ages 0–3) with developmental delays or disabilities. In this role, you will deliver home- and community-based services that support fine motor development, sensory processing, self-care skills, play, and overall functional participation.
The COTA provides direct intervention services under the clinical supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) and implements individualized treatment plans aligned with each child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). This position emphasizes a family-centered, coaching-based approach, supporting caregivers in embedding strategies into daily routines and natural environments. You will collaborate with your supervising OT and an interdisciplinary team to support meaningful, functional outcomes.
This is an independent contractor role, offering flexibility in scheduling and service delivery, while requiring adherence to Aspire’s documentation standards, compliance requirements, and professional expectations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Candidates must hold an Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program, maintain current COTA certification, and hold an active Nevada license in good standing. Pediatric experience is required, with early intervention experience preferred. Applicants must carry professional liability insurance, maintain CPR/BLS certification, and complete required HIPAA and compliance training. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required, as services are delivered in home and community settings.
This role requires frequent travel, floor-based interaction with children, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
