This role is a senior leadership position responsible for driving sustainability strategy and circular innovation across cloud infrastructure and data center operations. You will oversee the monetization of decommissioned assets, align renewable energy initiatives, and enable circular flows through material recovery and recycling programs. The position requires strategic oversight, cross-functional collaboration, and external advocacy to position sustainability efforts as a competitive advantage. You will engage with customers, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders to expand market opportunities, influence policy and industry standards, and deliver measurable business and environmental impact. This role combines visionary thinking with practical execution and offers the opportunity to shape the future of sustainable technology operations.

Accountabilities:
  • Own P&L accountability for sustainability initiatives across all routes to market.

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that monetize decommissioned assets and support circular supply chains.

  • Align customer renewable energy and carbon reduction requirements with business outcomes.

  • Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to recycle and repurpose materials into new or existing value chains.

  • Build and nurture partnerships with customers, industry stakeholders, and ecosystem players to expand sustainability impact and drive innovation.

  • Represent sustainability initiatives externally at industry events, consortia, and through media engagement to enhance thought leadership.

  • Conduct market segmentation, competitive analysis, and policy monitoring to identify growth opportunities and guide strategic decisions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading global sustainability programs, circular economy initiatives, or related business transformations.

  • Strong understanding of emerging market trends, customer needs, and ecosystem capabilities.

  • Track record of designing and executing market expansion strategies that align with business objectives.

  • Exceptional collaboration and leadership skills to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with experience operating at multiple organizational levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to evangelize sustainability initiatives externally, through industry events, partnerships, and media.

  • Advanced analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities to drive innovation and measurable business impact.

  • Competitive salary range of $144,000 - $210,000, based on experience, skills, and location.
