We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer I to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer I, you will be part of a nimble and innovative team finding creative design solutions to customer problems in both the airborne and ruggedized ground-support spaces. You will work on detailed design and qualification, and production implementation. You will partner with talented systems, electrical, and software engineers in a culture of fast-faced innovation. With an on-site state-of-the-art machine shop dedicated to research and development you will see your designs move from concept to reality in hours instead of months.

Responsibilities:

- Mechanical detailed component design

- Contributing to technical proposals to grow our business

- Execute analysis and simulation in thermal design and shock/vibration performance

- Understand and execute industry best-practices in model and drawing creation

- A hands-on engagement in prototype construction and qualification testing

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

- 1 year experience in mechanical engineering (internship acceptable)

- Proficiency with the use of 3D CAD programs to create solid models, 2D detail and assembly drawings. Experience with Autodesk Inventor is preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience with hands on assembly and fabrication

- Knowledge of thermal design. Experience with ANSYS/FLUENT is preferred

- Knowledge of shock and vibration design. Experience with Inventor Nastran is preferred

- Knowledge of EMC/EMI design best practices.
